Brushed DC Motor Family
HURST® Brushed DC motors are sub-fractional designs that utilize
permanent magnets and a constant flux PM field. By eliminating the
need for separate field excitation, Hurst is able to provide
improved motor efficiency and greater reliability. These motors
exhibit linear speed vs. torque and current vs. torque performance.
Brushed DC motors are used in adjustable speed applications
requiring a wide operating range and moderate operating life. A
HURST® gear box can be mounted on the Brushed DC motor to increase
its output torque while lowering its operating RPM.
